The Riverside Fire Department is made up of 95 strategically located stations. These 95 strategically loacted stations are then broken into 17 battalions that serve and protect their residence. This large department is staffed by 952 career fire fighters and 1,100 volunteer fire personel. This well equiped department staffs wild land engines, type 1 fire engines, hazardouas material squads, paramedic squads, truck companies, and air operation units.

Stockton Fire Department
The Stockton Fire Department is made up of 13 fire stations. The department has 13 fire engines, 4 truck companies, and a hazardous material team. They also have a trained water and dive rescue team a urban search and rescue team making this department well rounded in every area. The department is run by fire chief Ronald L. Hittle who oversees the 229 personnel.

Alameda Fire Department
The Alameda Fire Department is made up of 5 strategically located stations. The department is composed of 4 advance life support engine companies, Three advanced life support ambulances, two ladder truck companies, one fire boat rescue, staffed by 24 fire fighters a day for 24 hours a day. This department is well established and ready to meet the needs of their community providing many necessary life saving services.

San Diego Fire Department
The San Diego Fire Department protects a population of 1,337,000 people covering an area of 331 square miles. Protecting 17 miles of coastline extending 3 miles offshore, 4,600 acres around Mission Bay park. The Department staffs 9 permanent lifeguard stations. There are 47 fire stations strategically located in San Diego. The uniformed staff is made up of 1,036 personnel. This department is well trained in responding to ems calls, fires, and hazardous material incidents.
