Fullerton Fire Department


The City of Fullerton Fire Department is made up of six strategically located stations to protect and serve their residents. The Fullerton Fire department staffs six fire engines, one truck companies, hazardous material squad. Three of the engine companies are staffed by paramedics. The six engine companies and truck are staffed by twenty five fire fighters twenty four hours a day. This department is well trained and well equipped to serve its residents.

Roseville Fire Department


The Roseville Fire Department is made up of 8 strategically located stations that serve and protect their residence. Roseville is one of the fastest growing cities in California with over 100,000 residence. The department has their own training facility that sits on 3 acres and has a six story training tower. All 8 fire engines are equipped with emergency medical technicians and paramedics that provide life saving skills to their community. The department also responds to hazardous material calls.

Riverside Fire Department


The Riverside Fire Department is made up of 95 strategically located stations. These 95 strategically loacted stations are then broken into 17 battalions that serve and protect their residence. This large department is staffed by 952 career fire fighters and 1,100 volunteer fire personel. This well equiped department staffs wild land engines, type 1 fire engines, hazardouas material squads, paramedic squads, truck companies, and air operation units.

Stockton Fire Department


The Stockton Fire Department is made up of 13 fire stations. The department has 13 fire engines, 4 truck companies, and a hazardous material team. They also have a trained water and dive rescue team a urban search and rescue team making this department well rounded in every area. The department is run by fire chief Ronald L. Hittle who oversees the 229 personnel.

The department is composed of 4 advance life support engine companies, Three advanced life support ambulances, two ladder truck companies, one fire boat rescue, staffed by 24 fire fighters a day for 24 hours a day. San Diego Fire Department


The San Diego Fire Department protects a population of 1,337,000 people covering an area of 331 square miles. Protecting 17 miles of coastline extending 3 miles offshore, 4,600 acres around Mission Bay park. The Department staffs 9 permanent lifeguard stations. There are 47 fire stations strategically located in San Diego. The uniformed staff is made up of 1,036 personnel. This department is well trained in responding to ems calls, fires, and hazardous material incidents.

Newport Beach Fire Department



The Newport Beach Fire Department is well equipped providing service community with eight staffed fire stations. The city has one hundred and fifty four employees and two hundred and twenty five seasonal employees to protect and serve their community. Newport Beach Fire Department provides three front line paramedic units which are housed at fire station two, three, and five. The Newport Beach fire department is well trained since the cover diverse terrain whether it be the Beach's or the mountains. They are trained in fire safety, ems services, wild land, and hazardous material training. What a great fire department to work for.

Los Angeles City Fire Department


The city of Los Angeles does it all, from type one engines, trucks, hazmat, USAR, dozers, air operations, airport crash units, and incorporated EMS. Los Angeles Fire Department is very unique in that, unlike Los Angles County the city owns and operates its own ambulance companies. The Los Angeles City protects over 470 square miles with their 3,165 sworn personnel. This is one well equiped Fire Department.

Huntington Beach Fire Department


The city of Huntington beach is made up of eight strategically located stations. Each station is equipped with a paramedic unit which provides advance life saving skills. There are two truck companies which are very helpful and beneficial when responding to structure fires. The department is also equip ed with four ambulances. There are fourty one fire suppresion personael and eight ambulance operators on each shift maning the eight stations and other services which are provided to the community.

San Jose Fire Department


The San Jose Fire Department is a well established department made up of 35 strategically located stations. The San Jose Fire department is well equip ed with truck companies, urban search and rescue forces, engines, patrols, and rescue ambulances. Staffed with well trained fire fighters who are trained in emergency medical response, fire suppression, urban search and rescue, and disaster relief.

The department protects 1,006,892 people making it the third largest city in California. Protecting over 178.2 square miles of terrain.

The Pasadena Fire Department


The Pasadena Fire Department was started in 1888. It is now configured of eight strategically located stations that protect 22.5 square miles protecting 150,000 residence. The department began protecting its community with only one thousand dollars allowing them to purchase two hook and ladder trucks. As time passed the department continued to progress and grow into a top notch department.

The department consist of two truck companies, eight engines, five rescue ambulance, and one battalion chief suburban. The department is well equipped and well staffed. The department provides fire prevention, fire operations, fire management, and emergency medical services. The department is run by fire chief Dennis J. Downs.

Culver City Fire Department


Culver City Fire Department is well organised. It was established in 1922 and remains one of nine state accredited class one certified departments. The Culver City fire department proudly provides fire suppression, fire prevention, and advanced life support systems to their residences.
Culver City is made up of three stations. Station one is the departments headquarters which staffs one engine and one rescue ambulance. Torrance Fire Department


The city of Torrance created their first fire Department in 1912. Providing live saving skills to the community as a volunteer department. It wasn't until May 23, 1921 that the volunteer department established itself as a paid fire department. As the city of Torrance continued to grow, the fire department grew to accommodate the large city.

The City of Torrance Fire Department is configured of six strategical located stations, five squads, two truck companies, and nine state certified hazardous material technicians per shift.
